Hi everybody! How r u? Hope fine... Wow films! such a good topic..
As regards your questions, I have to say that I've only seen 3 of the films! :S ... I really enjoyed them since from my point of view, they left a mark on me. I consider some of them are really meaningful because of the importance of the messages they contain.
Firstly, "Shrek" is a fantasy comedy about a big ogre who lives in a swamp. He has a talkative friend who goes with him in order to save the princess Fiona, who is prisoner in a castle. The message of this film is that "beauty is not everything". The movie is refreshing the self-centered and the image conscious society.
Secondly, "The pursuit of happiness", is a drama film based on Chris Gardner's life. It is featured by Will Smith as Gardner, a salesman who lives in San Francisco. He tries to sell some scanners to doctors, however, they are not enough to afford the bills. Consequently, his family is broken, he has no home and has to work very hard in a no-paid program to become an intern stockbroker in a company. The main message of the film is that sometimes people say you can not do something, that you will not succeed. Nevertheless, you do not have to care about this. If you want something, GO AND GET IT!!! Nobody says it is going to be easy, but you have to think that anything without effort has no value.
Thirdly, "Hachiko" is a drama film based on a true story. A professor has a loyal pet, who waits for him in the train station until he comes back from the work. One day, the professor dies but Hachi still goes every day to the station to wait for his master. The main message of the film is related to the loyalty and friendship that could exist between a man and a dog. Animals are very good friends, I love them! I wish I had a pet as Hachi.
I would highly recommend these 3 films I mentioned above, as they are filled with real life contents. Each of them has an important message that I am sure will make you think about your real life.

Well, that's all 4 now... I'll try to watch the other films... Hope u enjoy them... C U tomorrow! BYE BYE! :)

Hello everyone. Sorry but I have only seen one of these movies. Shrek... well it wasn't a bad movie. I've heard a lot about The pursuit of happyness, maybe I should watch it someday. By the way, the last film I saw was "Underground", don't wanna spoil the plot, so I won't tell waht it is about. But I highly recommend it.

Hello! I've seen only three films of these: Shrek, the Pursuit of Happiness and Hachiko. The three of them liked me a lot specially "Hachiko". That movie made me cry... :( (Maybe because one of its main characters is a dog and I love animals). It seems that all is about tragic events but at the end you learn the message. Loyal and eternal love exists! It's VERY moving. If you haven't seen it, I recommend it. See U in class... Bye!

hi ....
I have seen Shrek and 'the pursuit of hapiness' .....I liked both of them but i wouldn't say they are my favourites.I saw 'the pursuit...' on tv ,only once and I convinced myself that Will Smith is a great actor and i think it is a good movie but for me it is not one of those movies that i would watch many times.
I saw shrek a lot of times i like most the first and the second movie,I think those 2 movies are funny and are classics.
I recommend both movies.

hi everyone!!!!!!!!!11
I have seen most of these films and really are excellent!.
If I had to choose one it would be "HACHIKO" because I love dogs and I would give my life for them.

Hachiko is a 2009 American drama film based on the true story of the faithful Akita Hachiko. It was directed by Lasse Hallstrom and stars Richard Gere, Joan Allen and Sarah Roeme.
An akita puppy is sent from Japan to the United States, but his cage falls off the baggage cart at an American train station, where he is foun by college professor Parker Wilson (Richard Gere).Parker is instantly captivated by the dog and takes the puppy home. Parker decides to call the dog Hachi and few years later Hachi and Parker are as close as ever. However something happens in their lives that will change forever.
The escenes involving Parker and Hachi teach us how close animals and human being can be to each other.
This is a wonderful film for the whole family.Don't miss it as it will cange the way you see life and relationships forever.

I think that person who says that dogs is "man's best friend"is absolutely right.Dogs make wonderful companions. They always show their happiness as soon as their owners walks through the door, by wagging their tail and jumping up and down excitedly.
Spending a little time with your dog every day will certainly win you a "best friend"for life.
Do you agree with me?.....

See you soon and be happy!!!!!!!

hello! i´ve seen most of these films.these are delightful films, i really enjoyed them.
some of them are really maningful because of the importance of the messages they contain, such as "million dollar baby" and "the pursuit of happiness". these films are true life stories that make you think that life is full of disappointments and we should live for the little triumphs or moments of true happiness.
But, if you think there might be a romantic burried somewhere inside you, i recommend you "the notebook". if you like dogs, either "marley and me" or "hachiko" are a good option, the first one is a comedy about the joys and stresses of modern family life, and the other is a drama about a loyal dog, hachiko. if you want laugh "shrek" is a commical animated adventure which offers more giddy pleasures than most movies.
I recommend all of them!
see you!!

Hello everybody..!!
I've seee only two of these films: Shrek (of course) and Million dollar baby.

Well, Shrek is a funny and commical film to share with all the family. I've really enjoy this film especially the first one !! I prefer the first one than the others.
Regarding on MIllion dollar baby and since my point of view, this is a sad film but this gives us a grate message;

" The life is hard but we have to face it and continue! Fight for ours dreams, being tenacious, throught tenacity we can get so many things!" A clear example is the girl in the film, she was alone, she hadn't the love and the support of her family. She wasn't completly happy but she had a dream, she wanted to become in a professional famale boxer. She really fought for that! She was so close to get a tittle fight but unfotunately she coldn't. However she feel proud of herself and pleased to have left up to there..!

On the other hand, I would like to see Hachiko as I've listened a lot about this!!

Hello!

Honestly, Of all the films proposed here I haven´t seen a great many. Actually I have just seen three of them: Marley and me, Shrek and the pursuit of happiness. Oh what I think of them?...

Well, all of them were catching for me, of course to different point. I have to admit that Shrek is a must. Nobody I know have at least watched one of shrieks films. They all are really enjoyable and fun. Definitely a movie that can´t be miss. On the other side the pursuit of happiness is totally different in its mood. It`s a kind of philosophical film, I would say. It makes you think of important things in life therefore I would suggest watching it.

Years ago I read the book The Secret, and then I had the possibility to see the film. Basically, it consists of a series of interviews, that describe the pseudo-scientific “Law of Attraction”, The “Law of Attraction” is simple and basically comes down to this: if you want something, all you have to do is visualize it and believe that you will get it; and then it will come to you automatically. The Secret shows how to apply this powerful knowledge to your life in every area from health to wealth, to success and relationships.
The Secret film reveals also amazing real life stories and testimonials of regular people who have changed their lives in profound ways.

I recommend you to watch The Secret — it will help you understand just how important it is to keep your thoughts focused on what you want to attract.

Hi everybody!! How are you?? I hope you are ok!!
I have seen 5 films of this top 10, I have seen Hachiko, Million Dollar Baby, Shrek, The Pursuit of Happiness, and Invictus and I think that if I had to do my own top 10 I would choose the same films because I think they are some of the best I had seen! Now I will try to give my opinion about some of them:
For example I liked “The Pursuit of happiness” because I think it’s a very shocking and lovely film. The actors, the man and his son, made an excellent acting. This true story made me think about the value of all things I have and, Of course, through this film I could realize that nothing is impossible and if I want to reach something I have to put all my effort to get it and I will do one day.
Another involving film I think it must not be missed is “Hachicko” , a real story which made me realize the value of the animals, the pets, its feelings, its loyalty and love they can have for us. Sometimes some people doesn’t have such strong love as animals, so, for this reason they are examples of loyalty and strong love that we, as intelligent human beings, should imitate..
Another interesting story is “Shreck” which, although it is not a real one, is very funny and gripping. The film tells us the story of a lovely couple of ogres which want to live happy forever in their (pantano).
I have seen only five of these top 10 until now, but I hope I will see the other films soon because I am sure I will enjoy them a lot!
Ok, that’s all…see you friends……bye….Noe Ruiz.
